My lovely and wonderful friend Christine sent me a great Easter care package...complete with candy filled, pink camouflage plastic Easter eggs! Christine and I go way back...to being Company Commanders at Parris Island together. She has even been a guest blogger here before (the only one that has done that besides my sister!). She (along with her husband) spent over a year in Iraq as contractors recently, so she is very familiar with the lovely conditions that I get to experience day in and day out. Thank you so much Christine (since I know you are reading this) for thinking of me. And yes, on my move out West the "Casa de Christine and Jeff" is going to be a scheduled stop! :)

Aww!! I just started reading your blog and I love it because my boyfriend is deploying on April 26th to Iraq. So I'm getting good ideas on care packages.. but how in the world did you get the easter chocolate without it all melted???
It is pushing the limit right now...I would assume in a month it won't work to mail chocolate, but right now it isn't too hot yet!
